  • Aggregate Supply

    The total supply of goods and services that producers are willing to provide within a particular market. (OED Online, 2015)
  • Aggregator

    Any supplier that combines customers or services into groups for reasons of economy, convenience, etc.
  • Aggrieved Bidder/Proposer

    The bidder/proposer who is adversely affected by the award of a contract to another bidder/proposer and protests or appeals the decision.
  • Agreement

    An understanding between two or more parties in which they state a common understanding and intention regarding past or future intentions or facts, sometimes with a view to altering performance, rights, and obligations. When the additional elements of a contract are satisfied, e.g., mutual obligation (consideration), capacity, definiteness, and legal purpose, contracts may be formed. Then the terms agreements and contracts are sometimes used synonymously.

    Documented proof of the contract of carriage between the shipper and the carrier. It serves as a receipt of goods for shipment and is required for customs clearance. This proof was issued by the airlines following the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) standard form. (Business, 2002)

    A corporation chartered by a foreign government and conducting business in the United States. (Business, 2002)
